Important details to know before your appointment
To help you prepare for your visit and to have a smooth experience, here are key details to note.

Please arrive a few minutes early for your appointment. You may park on the street directly in front of our home.

Ring the bell or knock at the front entrance and I will meet you at the door.

Our business is based out of our happy, sent-free home, please come alone and avoid heavy parfums.

Sisterlocks services are provided in a dedicated room on the second floor. If the stairs cause accessibility issues, please communicate with me before your booking time so I can accommodate you.
Other important information to prepare for your session:

Wash Your Hair: Kindly wash your hair before the appointment, 24-48 hours in advance is ideal. This gives your scalp time to settle and avoids buildup from accumulating in your locks. If you arrive and your hair is not washed, your appointment will be cancelled and rescheduled for another time.

Avoid Heavy Products and Heat: Refrain from using heavy oils or products, and strengthening your hair right before your appointment. This causes slippage and can make the retightening session longer.

Cost: the cost of retightening depends on the duration of your appointment which is influenced by hair growth, the need for corrections, or recreating locks due to slippage. An estimate will be provided.

Payment: cash is preferred, if sending an e-transfer, it has to be sent and accepted during the appointment only.

Communicate: Be prepared to discuss any concerns or questions you have about your locks during the appointment.

Bring Supplies: Consider bringing snacks, books, headphones to listen to music, and something to keep you entertained during the appointment. This is the your time!

Cancellations: please notify me 48 hours before your appointment so we can reschedule at no cost or penalties.

Arriving Late: please arrive on time for your appointment so we can finish on time. If you are late beyond an acceptable period, and without notice, your appointment will be cancelled and rescheduled.

Sick: if you are unwell, please cancel your appointment, an alternative arrangement will be made at no cost or penalties.

Plan for Maintenance: After your retightening, recommended maintenance practices will be shared with you to keep your Sisterlocks healthy.

Pictures: during the session, I may take pictures of your hair before and after the session. These pictures serve to document your hair progress and will not be posted anywhere without prior, written, consent.

Book your next appointment: regular maintenance is important for hair care, you will be invited to schedule another appointment.
